Iconique is a queer event production series created by Missionnaire Collective. The Miss Iconique Drag Showcase and the Iconique Awards are our flagships, and we plan to expand our programming in 2026.

Mission: expand queer visibility in Utah by spotlighting  prestigious queer art through high-production events designed to inspire, elevate, and honor queer artists, advocates, and allies alike. 

Vision: become Utah’s go-to brand for high-concept entertainment and campaign production, a household name that draws celebrity partners and engaged crowds, a feeder for drag reality tv, a benchmark for queer design and aspirational taste.

Positioning: Iconique is inspiring, avant, referential, refined, eclectic, experimental, contemporary, chic.

Miss Iconique is an annual drag pageant and a mainstay for Utah pride week as the premier drag event in SLC. We showcase the best of our local performers as they compete for the grand prize and title of Miss Iconique. The show kicks off pride weekend, sponsors a float in the Utah Pride parade, and this year will host a parade afterparty at The Depot.

Our interpretation of drag pageantry is future-oriented. We look to redefine traditions of pageantry—this isn’t your grandma’s beauty pageant ;)

The Iconique Awards is a live black-tie event that honors queer artists, designers, performers, advocates, and allies who shine for our community in Utah.

Styled after the popular Culture Awards and New York nightlife’s GLAM Awards, the event combines genuine honors for arts and culture with humor and cheek to create an unforgettable, must-see live show.

The 2025 awards were held in downtown SLC at Soundwell SLC, and the 2026 show will take place at The Depot.
